  • I have the right to decline any commission request that I feel I cannot fulfill, or involves subject matter I am uncomfortable with.

  • You must provide clear visual references when requesting a commission. These can include images from Google/Pinterest, colour palettes, or even something you've sketched yourself — basically anything that can help me understand and accurately draw the idea you have in mind.

  • Your request will be declined if you have only provided a text description for me to work from.

  • Your commission will be completed in 2-3 weeks.

2. Payment and Refunds

  • All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

  • Payment is made on Artistree via Stripe or PayPal.

  • You must pay the full commission price upfront for me to begin working on your commission.

  • Prices may change depending on the complexity of the commission. (See the "Add-ons" section for more info.)

  • No refunds are allowed once I have started working on your commission.

  • A full refund will only be issued if you cancel your commission before I started working on it. A partial refund will be issued if I am unable to finish your commission.

3. Requesting Revisions

  • You can request up to 3 revisions throughout the entire commission process.

  • Revisions requested upon receiving the first WIP (the "rough layout") are free. After you have approved of this first WIP and I have moved on, any other revisions may be subject to an additional charge, depending on complexity.

  • After you receive the fourth WIP (where the commission is essentially finished), you are not allowed to request major revisions.

  • Please see "Process: Workflow and WIPs" below for an overview of the WIPs you will receive.

4. Copyright and Usage

  • I retain the rights to all commissioned artwork.

  • Modifying/altering the commissioned artwork is not allowed, unless I give my consent.

  • I retain the right to post commission pieces publicly on social media, and to use them as samples for future commissions or portfolios.

  • You can choose to keep your username private if I post your commission online (“Commission for anonymous”). You can also choose to keep your commission completely private, in which it will not be posted online nor used as samples / in portfolios.

  • Commissioned artwork is strictly for personal (non-commercial) use only.

  • Personal use includes: icons/banners on social media, wallpapers, or a print for personal display. For social media usage, please provide credit by linking one of my accounts in your profile/post.

  • If you are interested in a commission for commercial use, the price will be higher (generally 2x the normal price). Please email me in this case so we can discuss further.

  • You are NOT allowed to use the commissioned artwork for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) or for the training of artificial intelligence (AI).

  • All commissions are taken through Artistree. (An account isn't required to request a commission!)

  • Once you send me a request, I will review it and reach out to you within 24 hours. There, we will discuss any other necessary details of your request and confirm the cost of the commission.

  • I will send you an invoice after everything has been agreed upon.

  • Once the full commission price is paid upfront, I will begin working on your commission.

Upon Completion

  • I will send you the commissioned artwork via Artistree.

  • You will receive both the watermarked and non-watermarked versions of your commission at full resolution (a 300 dpi .JPG at 2500 x 3600 pixels; portrait or landscape).
